Abstract:
The paper examines diagnostic approaches to autism spectrum disorders (ASD) within ICD-10, ICD-11, and DSM-5, emphasizing the shift from categorical to dimensional models. Common ASD comorbidities, such as intellectual disability and hyperkinetic disorders, are identified. Clinical cases with varying functional levels and comorbid psychopathology are analyzed. The importance of differential diagnosis and an individualized clinical approach is highlighted.
