Abstract:
The problem of post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) It is especially relevant in adolescents due to the increasing prevalence of symptoms associated with the impact of various traumatic situations on the psyche of a person during adolescence. The film "Short Term 12" explores the themes of cruelty, humanity and interpersonal relationships between different generations of people, where educators and teenagers look for support in each other, and find it. The film raises the issue of the need for society's assistance in the social and psychological adaptation of adolescents with a complex traumatic family history.
