During toxicological assessment, it was established that the absolute (LD100) and median (LD50) lethal doses of the medicinal product Trazapentin® tablets for cats were not determined. According to GOST 12.1.007-76 «Harmful Substances. Classification and General Safety Requirements», the drug was classified as Hazard Class IV «Slightly Hazardous Substances». A study of chronic toxicity of Trazapentin® tablets for cats with its daily oral administration to rats for 90 days at all tested doses showed no animal mortality and no negative impact on the animal body, both during administration and after discontinuation. Trazapentin® tablets for cats do not possess allergenic or irritant properties in provocative skin and conjunctival tests.
