Abstract:
The article discusses data on the problem of post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) in adolescents, which has become particularly relevant in recent years due to the increasing prevalence of symptoms associated with the impact of various traumatic situations on the psyche of the individual during adolescence. The research results confirming the increase in the prevalence of the disorder under discussion in recent decades are presented, its pathogenesis, risk factors involved in the formation of PTSD, types and stages of this disorder during adolescence, features of psychopathological manifestations in adolescence, and therapeutic approaches to correcting this pathology are discussed.
